Status/Discussion:
3. Announcements
- PC&TC Cochair positions - Now vacant, no candidates.
Please consider, if you have questions, contact Monroe, Jeff McGeath, John Garguilo, Greg Staudenmeir or Paul Sherman
Monroe will contact Chris Carr (DCC CoChair) for guidance
- Hotel info available for F2F – paul will add to agendas
4. Status: TF, Supplement, Other Documents
- OBX-4 Tiger Team Meetings: setting day, time; (John Rhoads)
Likely start end of September
- New item - ACK recording for Connectathon
May not be able to do this in Gazelle, Paul Sherman will check
ACM does this. PIV – decided to require ACK. Monroe believes ACKs are useful for confirmation. Not all systems can log them. PCD can make the stand and take it to IHE overall. Discussion of proxy tests – limited use last year, may resolve this issue if used more next year. May help to educate participants on proxy use and set up. May be a challenge for PIV. PCD-03 application ack doesn't seem to work with proxies. Proxy provides single port, not helpful for multiple ports. Chris – running many connections at the same time, proxy would be a choke point for them. Jeff McGeath will contact Steve Moore, Lynn and Eric for help and possible solutions. One test – need to simulate a disconnect; proxy couldn't sense the disconnect. Jeff McGeath will check with Lynn to see if there are any PCD-03 ACKs being logged (RRG 016). Discussion of who would post ACK messages, need a clear rule. Generally ask for both parties to log messages. Do we want seperate line items for ACKs, or attach log? Jeff will discuss these with Lynn, Steve and Eric. PCD expects ACKs as part of evaluation. How do we record them? Paul Sherman will check the tests to see if ACKs are used across the PCD tests? IDCO is excepted from this. Will need to add to IPEC tests as well.
5. Action Item Review
- 109 through 169 last reviewed June and July

109 - TF document now allows this exception; the fields have been changed – CLOSE 110 – No new input so far, may delay until 10101b, have some existing work. If we want to move forward, suggest looking at WCM document. Chris will follow up with EPIC to provide info. Change date to F2F. 136 – Paul will bring out at IEEE meetings.
