3 Agenda Items
- Standards CoordinationStatus/Discussion: - 3. Standards Coordination
- - 10101a Met with editors, need to add notes. Good conversation, they are marking up what he sent. Estimate 2-3 weeks have draft ready. Made some numeric code changes – allow automated code numbers.
- - Monroe met with ITI on mACM, as well as IEEE RTLS group.
- - john G – testing and tooling; Honing in on test tool spreadsheet, used to find gaps and set priorities. PCD is in good shape. One topic – adding column for certification tools.
- 4. Elections -
- - No nomination for TC co-chair. Jeff's new position and activities limit his availability.
- - John Rhoads has offered to help, but we need another co-chair.
- IHE allows term limit exceptions for hard to fill slots. Please consider.
- 5. Marketing PCD, IHE
- - Discussed on PC call, 24x7 interview, another possible. Getting a lot of smart pump media requests.
- 6. Calendar http://wiki.ihe.net/index.php?title=Domain_Milestone_Dates
- - Status of Adopted Workitem Proposals
- 7. ICSA certification update - Vinny Sakore
- - Status of 2015 planning. Talked to about 10 vendors about certification. Changing to new model, use HIMSS Innovation Center.
- - This year – extended certs til end of year. Start prepping in April, testing starts July, virtual testing will be an option. Seems best to certify outside of Connectathon
- - Decided to bundle certifications by domain, with components within that.
- - Questions
- Will test tools simulate actors and drive/receive data? Replicating environment now, will provide NIST info, request tooling for automated testing.
- Concerned that cert tools align with testing tools. PCD – haven't diverted from IHE specs. Long term, tools will go through IHE process. Hope to leverage Connectathon activities to minimize duplication. Need expertise and resources to implement and maintain standards.
- Explain certification bundles more. Decided to move from actor/profile to domain bundles. Want to group so they're organized well. Will list actors/profiles certified within bundles. Cost will be per bundle. Always sold in bundles, but will be domain grouped.
- How will cross domain testing work? They test PCD and ITI now. Talking about other domains, but they don't quite exist yet. Will consider cross domain in the future.
- - Post call discussion. ICSA is still learning how to proceed, they're adjusting as they progress. Good to point out areas for improvement. Described how prior tests worked.
- 8. PC Action Item Review
- - 78 Is document available? Will try to find. Date updated when we have new representative.
- - Same as 78
