The Content Creator is responsible for creating content that will be shared or exchanged between other IHE Actors. It is expected to be grouped with other Actors that perform the actual sharing or exchanging of information, and is used most often in Content Integration profiles.
Responsibilities in Profiles
The responsibilities placed on this actor in the context of each Profile is summarized here. For the actual specifications, refer to the Technical Framework.
A system that supports an Actor does not have to meet the requirements in any given Profile unless the system claims support of that Profile in the product Integration Statement.
XDS-MS
This Profile depends on the actor to create medical summaries to be exchanged.
EDR
This Profile depends on the actor to create ED Referrals to be exchanged.
BPPC
This Profile depends on the actor to create consents to be stored in a repository.
IC
