- AAMI 2800 (John Rhoads) - Attempt to address device Comms gap. AAMI and UL working together it. Both had limited comms experience. Ties in with integrated clinical environment standard.
Any lessons regarding remote equipment commands? Topic comes up, no major insights yet.
- RTM - 11073, two sets of nomenclature ECG lead terms (10102 terms); how to proceed? (Paul Schluter) - Will discuss in detail at RTM meeting. Two lead identifier groups. 65 in one annex and 50 in another without formal definitions. Also defined 180 terms for FDA use that's very comprehensive. Well adopted by FDA, EU and NEMA. Recommend either indicate which model we use or agree upon a single model. Email has options listed, Paul recommends first option. He outlined the options - 1, 2a, 2b, 3, 4. All handle first 65 models well, but diverge after that. Number 4 uses product labeling, not good for interoperability. This is not trivial, needs agreement.

We are free to proceed with the profile selection and process. We will address them after the showcase; the PC is OK with them, but need to assign resources. Can we provide a list of them?

- April F2F - Need new location in San Diego area. Pump WG will see if a meeting is needed. The hotel has meeting rooms and will provide a quote. Local vendor also looking at space availability.
