Manny encouraged testing with the NIST tool and over the internet or via workaround.

REFIDs for the new ACM and pump codes are available, but the term codes will be 0 until IEEE submission.

The FT TF did not include some ACM material; CPs will be required to add tables.

The recent IPEC CP passed.

John Garguilo will check on the MSH issues.

Paul Schluter noted that ventilator terms are the subject of today’s RTM WG call.

- HIMSS Showcase:

Manny provided an update, including progress on the New Directions effort involving FDA, CMMS and RFID.

- AAMI Demo:

Contracts should be available soon.

- Proposal to map device numerical patient data to LOINC, SNOMED:

John and Paul provided an update on the effort Alex is leading to promote PCD data into MU3.

4. Status of TF, Etc.:

5. Action Items:

- Need volunteers to participate in the new profiles. Monroe summarized the two he leads, Device Management Communication (DMC) for data from devices to CMMSs and Location Services (LS) for data to CMMSs.

DMC: what data and when it would be passed.

LS: getting the right data at the right time.

The meetings are on Friday on alternate weeks.
