3. Standards Coordination

- HL7 – ongoing convergence on model similar to PCD-01 for FHIR. Trying to be consistent to simplify implementation. Some Orders and Obs vs. PCHA conflicts, have come up with a solution, working on acceptance. Putting everything into devices, which will include VMD, will prototype and demo in the next couple of months. Theses came up after the plug-a-thon.

- Several groups supporting alternate profiles using FHIR. Trying to figure out how to create specs suitable for both FHIR and IHE. One push to have profiles approved by both groups. Two different paths? - ITI/PCC map[[ping and our method? - Mostly no, they deal with workflow and records.. One option – take a fresh look and define alerts and alarms for IHE and FHIR compatibility.
