Status/Discussion:

3. Profiles and TF Update:

- TF: John Rhoads reported that all CPs and other data are being included in the TF. There are some issues regarding PIV and with ACM, largely related to documentation structure. Some material (e.g., general and special considerations for ACM) may be moved to an Appendix. John will send it to those most closely affected before submitting to IHE; this will be accomplished this week.
- Call for Proposals: These should be out this week.

4. Standards Coordination:

- FDA Battery Workshop: Manny suggested forming a small group to contact the offices concerned to let them know of possible PCD contributions to solutions.
- FDA Recognition of Various Standards: IEEE 11073 is listed, but DEC isn’t. It isn’t clear what that implies, if anything since IHE profiles are not often considered to be standards. IHE is now considered an SDO, but this may not be widely known.
- OBX-4: Paul led discussion about referencing specific OBR components from other OBRs within the same message. Monroe asked if this could be accomplished within the higher HL7 requirement in the OBX (set ID) rather than a PCD specific approach. Continua is using the approach Paul described, relying upon the dotted notation. John Rhoads added that the dotted notation relates to the device description. Paul added that Continua is addressing stored data, where the reference may be to OBRs within different OBXs in the same message as well. John Garguilo noted that as long as these are always unique this should work, however, parsing will be complex. John G asked if OBR-5 can be used to indicate that this OBR is the primary one; but that requires there be only one primary OBR. Conclusion: This is ok for Continua, but no implication for or against its potential for PCD.

5. IHE International, IHE-USA:

6. Elections:
