Item Topic Discussion
1 Introductions & Agenda Review
- Chair

2 Discussion Summary or Approval of Minutes
- Chair
- Last Dev Joint Meeting DEV Joint 2024-05-29

Decisions/Issues: May minutes approved.

3 Standards Coordination Status/Discussion:
- IEEE 2933 document has been approved; currently with editors
- HL7 Meetings brought up future considerations of managing new terminologies and trying to keep work efficient
- There few large projects (nurse call, using RTMMS when publishing new amendments) that may need decoupling in order to divide and conquer the work
- Those projects are not solid enough to go into the work item pipeline; could speed up SDC and let those go to review
- The general comment was made that if a vendor has particular interest in a project, it is best to join the calls while the project is being worked on rather than chime in during public comment which is a much less efficient process and bogs things down.
- Some options to automate processes were discussed and should be considered in the future
4 Domain Coordination Meeting Status/Discussion:
- DEV Board Report reviewed and approved by the IHE Board
4 Marketing and Recruitment Status/Discussion::
- IHE is looking for part-time help in this area; a position description will be available shortly
5 Ballots Status/Discussion::
- 4 have been completed
- Will be more coming from PCIM but won't be included in upcoming integration and publication date
6 Action Item Review Status/Discussion::
- Complete DEV Domain Action Items
7 PCD Report-Out
- Pump group discussion about multi-step programming
- PCIM is taking short break for summer holidays
- Will work on FHIR interface upon return
- Awaiting final edits from Mary for version 2 revision
- MEMDC and MEMLS awaiting CP approval
- Next step is to get two trial implementation updates ready to publish
- Working on Device Identification and Association status with PCIM; will likely have a follow-up CP to MEMDC TI and possible MEMLS
- Starting discussion on moving Technical Framework up to HL7 v2.8
8 PCH Report-Out
- Discussion on device learning and PCH space triggered by the question on whether or not the group should get involved in the process of creating an HL7 FHIR circling around resource device alert
- Interest in learning about alternatives, including ACM
- The group didn't see significant differences that would justify engaging HL7
9 DPI Report-Out
- Device Interoperability in IHE was a pre-conference topic at HIMSS Europe in Rome
- Interest in getting Devices into EU Interop Showcase
- EU CAT week after HIMSS Europe; potential for Device presence in coming years
- SDPI Gemini Developer's workshop: 1.4 release later this summer
- Completed comprehensive capabilities needed for real-world implementations, especially better alert integrations; should have alert PKP finalized and integrated early next year
10 Other Business Status/Discussion:

-Joint IHE-IEEE agenda
-New payment site for IHE membership renewal, email from
