11:45 - 13:30 Joint meeting ITI/PCC
- QDA - Query Dispatch and Aggregate
- The reaction from the ITI meeting was that the proposal and the functionality is relevant. However some people suggested that the functionality could maybe be implemented with a combination of existing profiles, such as QED, RID, XCF, RECON, ODD and other. This warrants an investigation into these profiles to see if this is the case.
- Some people mentioned that they have a great need for such a profile.
- In parallel with the investigation we could consider the following options such as a White paper or an Implementation guide.
- Healthcare Product Supply Interoperability
- Outcomes
- Topic definitely interesting cross-domain
- This should be hosted in a sub-committee of Pharmacy
- Jose will lead this topic
- That allows a quick start and later spin-off to own IHE domain easily possible
- An interest group was formed:
- Jose Costa Teixeira
- Derek Ritz
- John Moehrke
- Elliot Sloane
- Keith Boone
- Marc Robberecht
- A mission document will be created (Jose)
- Will be passed to DCC for making other domains aware of this activity
13:30 - 14:30 --- Lunch ---
14:30 - 15:30 Kingdom Saudi Arabia requirements
- Project architecture similar to Austrian e-Medication project
- Leveraging IHE Pharmacy: CMPD, PRE, DIS, PADV
- Goal: Provide a Medication List
- Not "stand-alone" like in Austria (= Document containing Medication list only), but embedded as section in an on-demand Patient Summary
- Business scenarios similar to Austria:
- Create/Cancel prescription
- Create/Cancel dispense
- Manage Prescription/Dispense items
- Change prescription item
- Cancel prescription item
- Change dispense item ("change dosage information")
- Cancel dispense item ("stop intake of that medication")
- Business scenarios additional to Austria:
- New: Put prescription/dispenses "on hold" and "release"
- Data elements
- Although method of prescribing is totally different (Austria: brands, Saudi: substances), the data elements are almost equivalent
- New: expirationDate for the batch at dispense (this elements is already in the HL7 medicine structure)
- New: Partial dispenses
- Other
- Administrations are discussed but defered to next phase -> we should prepare the profile
- CPs ahead
- Covering the issues above
- Maybe some CPs for change optionalities necessary
- In total the most has been already covered by the CPs for Austria, some few more are yet to come
15:30 - 16:45 Wrap-up Joint Meeting ITI/PCC
- QDA - Query Dispatch and Aggregate
- Healthcare Product Supply Interoperability
- Form the interest group, containing the people of today's joint meeting
- Set up a short description of the topic and the approach of the initiative, review it within interest group
- Send to the DCC (= all co-chairs of all IHE domains) together with a request to come on the agenda of DCC call
- Ask forwarding this to the respective members to gather additional participants to the interest group
- tbc...
