• CP-ITI-LAD-mCSD-LocationConstrainTableFixes.doc (Luke) - reviewed and accepted as CP-ITI-1183. Completed and ready for future ballot 55.
• CP-ITI-PDQm-birth-time.doc (John) - reviewed and assigned to John M as CP-ITI-1184. Attendees thought that the CP should be discussed before balloting it -- at a future call when we have broader attendance. Perhaps the issue of PDQm having only date (vs date-time in PDQ & PDQv3) -- and the affect (if any) on pediatric demographics or other use cases -- should at least be documented in a Closed or Open issues. CP rationale is updated accordingly.

• CP-ITI-1178-01 - XDS: misalignment between example and description for localizedString (Gregorio) - The latest update to this CP was approved. This CP is Completed and ready for future ballot 55.

• CP-ITI-TI-hcIdentifier_capitalization_HPD.DOC (Tarik) - this HPD CP is assigned to Tarik as CP-ITI-1181. There are a few more capitalization fixes needed in the HPD tables in ITI-58, so Tarik will bring this back with additional updates.
• CP-ITI-LF-MHD-mappingTableFixes (Lynn) - this MHD CP is assigned to John M as CP-ITI-1182.

(3) Next in CPs

• The July 4 ITI CP call is cancelled due to U.S. holiday. ITI CP calls resume on July 11.
• Ballot 54 is released. Votes/comments are due July 17. See details here.
• ITI Tech's editors and reviewers have finished their work on CP integration, and the updated documents are being processed by Mary. We expect them to be published on ihe.net by mid-July.

• XDS: CP-ITI-GC-misalignment_between_example_and_description_for_localizedString.doc (Gregorio) - this CP was broadly discussed. Notes from that discussion were added to the rationale of the CP. This is now CP 1178, assigned to Gregorio. Rather than updating the examples alone, the committee identified other areas of Vol 3 to clarify with regard to use of localizedString, especially with regard to Registries not validating the content.
• MHD: CP-ITI-GC-Clarify_use_of_outcome_in_ITI-65.doc (Gregorio) - this CP was discussed and modified. CP 1179 is Completed and ready for future ballot 55.
• XDM: CP-ITI-XDM-email (John) - accepted as CP 1180. Completed and ready for a future ballot. This CP contains a reference to the new S/MIME option in ATNA, so balloting this CP depends on CP 1151 (with the new options) in Ballot 54 being declared Final Text.

  • Refer to Final Text CP-ITI-1145 (Add three options affecting [ITI-19] Authenticate Node) to see current options for ATNA actors

• CP-ITI-907 - IUA Maintenance and alignment with FHIR initiatives (Walco) - after some discussion, the group agreed that the best path forward is for Walco and Massi to draft a work item proposal for needed updates to IUA. Next steps:
  • John will send the work item proposal template to Walco.
  • Walco and Massi will prepare a work item proposal to present to the ITI Planning Cmte at their next scheduled call on 18-June. John advised that the work item proposal include information about the need for the update, as well as the planned scope of the update, so that the Planning Cmte can prioritize the work.
  • Lynn will send Walco the Word version of the current-published IUA and look for any other open IUA CPs
  • The soonest that the ITI Tech Committee can consider this work item (assuming it is approved) is at their F2F meeting at the end of July.
  • In the interim, Walco and Massi can work on the proposed updates to the Supplement.
  • With the continuous development model, it is possible that IUA could be updated (re-published) by the end of 2019, but the preliminary steps above need to be completed before timing could be confirmed
  • When/if the workitem is approved, this CP will be cancelled
• CP-ITI-897 - Clarify that rqmts in ITI-19 provide a baseline set, and are not mandated at all deployments (John) - discussed and approved as Completed and ready for future Ballot 54
• CP-ITI-1047 - Remove mandatory User Authentication from ITI-19 (John) - discussed and approved as Completed and ready for future Ballot 54
• CP-ITI-1151 - ATNA Authenticate-Node clarity - Update options in Vol 1 (John) - John has proposed a revamping of ATNA actors' options that relate to TLS (ITI-19).
  • This CP is ready for committee review. We will devote the June 13 call to reviewing this CP, with the goal of approving it for ballot. Lynn will send out this CP to the ititech mailing list, along with CP 1145, the Final Text CP that added the FQDN server cert validation and BCP195 options.
