2 2012 N A Connectathon
- MannyStatus/Discussion: Pre-Connectathon Update: IPEC tool should be available Monday. ACM appears ready. IDCO has been updating the sample messages and the tool will be updated. Waveform testing will be unofficial. He asked that the PCD Test GG be used to address questions and any issues that may be identified. Standalone DOFs require three actors and NIST tool is not ready to handle three actors. For these we will conduct piece by piece static tests this year.
Virtual Connectathon Update: John Donnelly clarified yesterday’s Webex discussion to indicate that this should be accomplished in December. This is limited to those you will communicate with for the Showcase. He understands that some may not be able to conduct these Internet tests and for PCD this requirement will not be a hard requirement for Showcase participation. Manny emphasized the strong recommendation that PCD members test with as many partners as possible. Ken asked what is the difference between Internet testing with several partners and testing at the Connectathon. John Donnelly added that Showcase end-to-end testing will be part of the Connectathon week.

3 2012 Showcase
- MannyStatus/Discussion: Showcase Update: John Donnelly led the discussion, beginning with the Showcase Overview document and emphasized the integration of PCD within the larger story line. Timing is appropriate because more facilities have integrated device data. He used Use Case 1 as the example, describing the diagram in some detail. The detailed description will be posted on a Showcase Sharepoint portal and available later this week. It will require log in and password. Please view the recording for important details related to the Showcase and its documentation. John asked that the documents be reviewed and feedback provided ASAP.
John described the role of the Technical Project Coordinator (TPC) who is responsible for the Use Case, end to end. The TPC will work up the stories/scripts, testing, etc. The TPCs should be reaching out to participants by Monday.
