PCD Proposals Cycle 4
2008/2009 Profile Supplement Development Cycle
The Patient Care Device Domain will use this page to track the development of Profile Proposals for the period Fall 2008 - Spring 2009 when:
- Brief Profiles are submitted for consideration
- The PCD Planning Committee evaluates and prioritizes these proposals
- The PCD Technical Committee considers their feasibility (e.g., standards and resources available)
- Detailed proposals are developed, led by the Planning Committee
- Detailed Profile Proposals are evaluated by the Technical Committee
- Recommendations are sent to the PCD Technical Committee.
- Working Groups are formed to develop Supplements (technical documents) for the approved proposals

Current Proposals Under Development
This section will be updated to reflect the status of profile development from Brief Profile Proposal through Detailed Profile Propoal.
These Detailed Profile Proposals were short-listed, evaluated by the Technical Committee and selected by both committees for development in this Cycle (Note: Some profiles such as Alarm Communication Management may be developed in steps over a multi-year period).
