How do I find out the OID for a coding System?

  1. Search the HL7 OID Registry
    1. Go to www.hl7.org
    2. Click on the OID Registry link.
    3. In the box where it asks to search for an OID description, type in a few keywords, and click OK.
  2. Download a dump of the OID Registry
    1. Go to www.hl7.org
    2. Click on the OID Registry link.
    3. Click on the Generate A Report Button
