IT Infrastructure Technical Framework

2008-2009 Supplements for Trial Implementation
The IHE IT Infrastructure Technical Committee invites organizations to begin development work based on the following supplements to the IT Infrastructure Technical Framework for Trial Implementation. These trial implementation profiles will be tested at the IHE Connectathons beginning in February 2009.

  • Asynchronous Web Services Exchange
  • Document-based Referral Request (DRR)
  • Pediatric Demographics Option
  • Sharing Value Sets (SVS)
  • Cross Enterprise Sharing of Scanned Documents (XDS-SD)
  • White Paper: Emergency Contact Information (ECON)
  • White Paper: HIE Security and Privacy through IHE
  • White Paper: Publish/Subscribe Infrastructure for XDS.b

Ten IHE IT Infrastructure Integration Profiles are specified as Final Text in Version 4.0 of the ITI Technical Framework (ITI-TF v. 4.0): Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS), Patient Identifier Cross-Referencing (PIX), Patient Demographics Query (PDQ), Audit trail and Node Authentication (ATNA), Consistent Time (CT), Enterprise User Authentication (EUA), Retrieve Information for Display (RID), Patient Administration Management (PAM), Patient Synchronized Applications (PSA), and Personnel White Pages (PWP).
