Medication Prescription and Delivery (MPD)
The goal of this work item is to producte IHE Profiles for supply purposes.
- Although you can replenish various products, we consider the supply of medicinal products and vaccins in particular as an important use case. These products need special handling in the logistical process, such as cold storage, that covering the informational data flow of the supply chain of medicine would ensure the requirements for the replenishment. That is why IHE Pharmacy has been hosting this topic.
- The IHE Profiles will make use of FHIR resources to communicate in the use cases. The use cases are described here. https://profiles.ihe.net/ITI/mCSD/toc.html
