The American College of Cardiology, formerly the sponsor of the domain, discontinued its funding and staff support in 2008.  Under the terms of IHE Governance, without vendor-independent sponsorship the IHE Cardiology domain is now in a dormant state effective April 1, 2008. 
In March 2009, the ACC submitted a proposal to the IHE International Board to re-establish the IHE Cardiology Domain.  For further information, see the main page for the [[Cardiology]] Domain.
In conjunction with the re-establishment of the Domain, there will be a call for participation on the Planning and Technical Committees.  The roster below reflects the 2007-2008 membership.  New chairs will be chosen from the new memership.
