Pharmacy

IHE Pharmacy addresses information sharing, workflow and patient care in both community and hospital pharmacies.

IHE Pharmacy is sponsored by the EAHP, NICTIZ, Phast and GMSIh and manages the Pharmacy Profiles and the Pharmacy Technical Framework.

There are two committees:

• the Pharmacy Planning Committee and the Pharmacy Technical Committee

Timeline : 2009 Development Cycle Milestones

The Timeline shows the main milestones of the development cycle, the Timeframe when they are typically expected to happen each year, and the actual date/time/location they have been Scheduled for this year. Specific meetings and their agendas and minutes are generally listed on the page of the relevant Committee.

<List the key Development Activity milestones and deadlines. Don't mix different cycles in the same table, it's confusing. For context, it is OK to include a few Deployment Activities such as regional Connectathons. Don't list each and every T-Con and meeting. Put those on your committee page. The Domain Page is the big picture view.>

The Technical Committee is currently working on 3 candidate Integration Profiles:

• Basic Community Pharmacy Integration Profile
  • publish & pull prescriptions, access to dispensed medication & pharmaceutical advice
• Basic Hospital Pharmacy Integration Profile
  • transfer prescription, access to dispensed medication, medication administration
• Inter-Pharmacy Coordination Integration Profile
  • Hospital admission/discharge and transfer of medication/prescriptions between hospital-pharmacist and community-pharmacist
