2	2012 N A Connectathon - Manny	Status/Discussion: POI Testable Assertions Discussion of the testable assertions revealed: - Include: Test to learn that sensor data is not coming through - is the sensor on the patient? Is there a sensor connection issue? This to be optional in this cycle. Provide opportunity to send SpO2 in combination with other parameters (e.g., from a bedside monitor) when desired. This to be part of the basic SpO2 test. Continuous and single data point. Send validated and non-validated data. - Questions: Need to learn if sending and/or receiving systems must support both SNOMED and LOINC (even IEEE). Need to learn if test should include superficial and invasive oximetry. Regional oximetry? See OBR-44 in 1.4.1.1 Decisions/Issues: Action(s):
