(3) Old CPs - Motion to cancel these assigned CPs (deferred from 12/19 call)

• CP-ITI-496 (John M) - ATNA secure communications option
  • I am unsure that this is still wanted. It is also a very radical change that would affect “IHE Integration Statements”, be even worse for Gazelle. Given that this is many years old. I think it might be best to cancel it and see if it comes back up again. Reality is that today this is happening through non-stated means. Not a great idea, but reality. I think a solution that would be more accepted would be to write a new profile that was just the audit logging. I would rather see that submitted as a profile proposal. It might be one as small as CT. But it would likely get to what people want (audit without mandatory secure-communications). – Motion to cancel
• CP-ITI-514 (John M) - Correct conflict in node authentication requirements
  • I think we solved this a long time ago with other broad ATNA rewrites. I certainly don’t think I could track down the meaning of the comments in the CP document. – Motion to cancel
• CP-ITI-581 (John M) - Correct DSUB audit messages
  • this seems to want us to take the current ITI-18 audit log messages and make them DSUB. But DSUB is not the same thing as ITI-18. I think the current DSUB audit messages are appropriate, and would not agree with the CP. Motion to cancel.
• CP-ITI-712-06 (Karen) - Clarify "optional" metadata on submission
  • documenting the actions of submission responding actors should be done with the transactions - Motion to cancel
• CP-ITI-689 - (Walco)
  • is now covered by the schema in DICOM part 15 (PurposeOfUse has a defined place and multiplicity) - Motion to cancel

• CP-ITI-711-03 - (Karen) - Add limitedMetadata attribute to optionality table
  • Karen provided an overview and discussion with John Moehrke surrounding overview occurred - John agreed to withdraw any concerns at this time
  • Accepted for Ballot 21
• CP-ITI-655-04 - (Marek / Mark S) Modify field predicate logic for conditional fields PID-29, 30 Patient Death of IHE PAM (discussion deferred from 12/16 call)-
  • Marek reviewed PID changes for Patient Death and Time and Patient Death Indicator
  • Elliot S asked clarifying questions on the PID changes to understand how PID-29 and PID-30 would be populated - Elliot S also requested clarification on use of the word "optional" in association with termination of patient encounter
  • Guidance may be needed for how to populate PID-29 and PID-30 and Lynn suggested we do an offline discussion
  • Current proposed language is PID-29 SHALL not be populated in all other cases besides termination of the patient encounter by patient's death
  • Accepted for Ballot 21 (the proposed language will be reformulated in another change proposal)
• CP-ITI-699-00 - (Rob) Fix RFC-3881 Instructions (discussion deferred to future call)
  • Rob requested to defer discussion due to scope of work to the next CP call
• CP-ITI-723-01 - (Karen) - Update Vol 3 content of on-demand & Metadata Update
  • Karen provided an overview on the proposal and the changes that were made - deleting and adding sections to the supplement, including actor/transaction pairs
  • Updates to XDSDocumentTypesEntry section were suggested - additional updates for stable and on-demand document entry were requested
  • Lynn requested that Karen include ODD document markup due to the large number of sections that were deleted and added
• IHE_ITI_Suppl_XDS_Metadata_Update_Rev1.3_TI_2013-10-25-notesfor723.doc – (Karen) - notes for discussion about metadata update - the scope of the changes to MU will be broken out of this CP; new CP-ITI-740 assigned to Karen will handle MU updates; 723 is for the ODD supplement
  • Discussion of Table 4.12 in IHE Technical Framework - noted discrepancies in the table and Karen expressed concern she could not resolve all the technical aspects to make the changes
  • 723 is still being worked on by Karen as a CP - a separate CP number will be sent to Karen by Lynn for metadata
  • Lynn suggested we do a small workgroup to resolve questions on the metadata update section - recommended time for the workgroup will be in early February to Connectathon
• CP-ITI-615-02 - (Walco) DSUB remove SubscriptionID from all transactions
  • Accepted for Ballot 21
• CP-ITI-630-02 - (Walco) XTN data type should be more specific
  • Walco reviewed changes - Rob reviewed the tables that were updated in the CP to compare them to HL7 and Karen added comments surrounding the rationale for the change
