Scope and Current Work

• The Eye Care Planning Committee is focused on the following goals for 2016:
  • Significantly increase professional community awareness of and participation in IHE Eye Care
  • Broaden vendor participation in IHE Eye Care, both EHR systems and imaging (acquisition) modalities)
  • Foster real life IHE Eye Care implementations to meet clinical needs
  • Broaden participation of eye care organizations in the US and internationally
  • Develop an effective IHE Eye Care showcase to increase ophthalmologist participation
