For the past 21 years I have been one of the principals in the US Department of Veterans Affairs VistA Imaging Project. One of my roles is to be the chief "DICOM Person" for the VA. We rely heavily on IHE Scheduled workflow for the importation of DICOM objects into the VistA HIS. (We have about 600 different DICOM modalities connected to VistA and have acquired about 2 billion images.)

I was promoter of the Import Reconciliation Workflow. I would like to now work on some enhancements to help automate the reconciliation process.
