    • Seth is new to IHE but brings extensive experience from the CDC, Public Health informatics, and family medicine as a practicing physician in Wisconsin. Johanna presented a summary of her call with Lori for changes to the TF, including, presenting the interoperability challenge even though the infrastructure to receive data does not exist yet and options for non-Title X providers to exchange FP data, referencing PHINVADS for differential missing answers (pt decline vs. skip), and how to recommend use of PHINVADS as only one vendor has tested dynamic use during a Connectathon, and issues with pre-pop (especially for variables that are recorded elsewhere but may not be collapsible to OPA requirements, e.g., race). Eric noted that most systems have not moved to a multi-race recording but it is acknowledged that the industry must move in the direction. The timing of the FP feed should be an open issue. Many are happening almost in real time but issues like insurance may not be known at the time of submission of the feed. Eric noted that most efforts are moving away from relying on billing information, also noted in Panzer’s JAMA 2013 article. The actor and swim lane diagrams need revision to indicate how the pre-pop will work and care summary options via CDA.
