- Ralf presented on a LAW update that is needed:
- IHE LAW profile does not allow the sending of Alternate Identifiers together with normal identifiers, but LOINC is recommending it.
- Options to update were discussed and the following was recommended and agreed upon:

- Comments: Reviewed the CP – chapter 2.3.1 might need to be moved. Don’t want to do that. So that is why CP is written the way it is.
- Adopted 2.9 – can allow second alternate ID; Ralf has people already asking him to use it.
- Riki will review the CP and get it published for comment.
- There are calls with DICON on specimen mapper on Mondays from 1-2pm Central US

- New proposal Lantana was presented by John Spinosa: An Initiative to exchange RBC phenotyping information using FHIR IG
- There are not many interfaces between blood bank donor centers and information systems
- The need and importance were presented:
- The proposal is for Lantana to work with partners to
- Develop a standard for exchange of blood product genotyping and phenotyping information for BECS and BBLIS incorporation
- Expand and convene a group of key stake holders to launch this work and support it with domain expertise
- Leverage the momentum of the core group and standards development project to procure funding that will carry through feasibility (Connectathon) testing, ballot, ballot reconciliation and publication.
- The current and supporting efforts to date include the San Diego blood bank, HaploGNX.
- There will be presentations on this effort at HL7 working groups
- Lantana is requesting feedback, information on related efforts, working group sponsorship and stakeholder participation.
- It was recommended the Lantana set up a webpage about the project that can be put on the IHE PaLM webpage.
- The proposal is for Lantana to work with partners to
- DPIA update: On a joint call with DICOM WG 26, there was a decision made that an SAC segment will be added to the DPIA profile, but the identifier can be the same as the parent container and/or ignored if the glass slide and tissue on the slide have the same ID. No objections from LIS or Scanner vendors in the end; so there was consensus.
- SET update: The document is updated for review.

- Completed first draft of five use cases.
