2	2012 N A Connectathon - Manny	Status/Discussion: Connectathon Registration: - Opens tomorrow. - See links in agenda and links on the Wiki page. - Manny indicated the links added to the Wiki page and noted that participants will need to check for updates on IHE Connectathon and HIMSS Showcase pages periodically. - There’s an IHE Google Group for Connectathon participants; Manny requested that anyone who did not receive a notice to let him know and he’ll forward the request. - The PCD maintains a Google Group for testing, with concentration on developing the NIST test tools but also addressing the larger scope of testing. DEC with POI and WCM - Testing: - The meeting was largely devoted to DEC tests, with much of the discussion addressing POI and some addressing the WCM options. The tests were summarized and participants were asked to continue the review in detail and provide comments in the next week or so, before the tests were added to Gazelle. - After the Connectathon tests are finalized we will define the Pre-Connectathon and Virtual / Internet tests. These are generally the same as the Connectathon tests. Manny described the desire to provide maximum ROI at the Connectathon without asking so much that it compromises the ability to conduct other tests. To achieve this balance we can develop additional Virtual / Internet tests if additional tests are desired. - The POI supplement defines ACKs for this option. Aside from PIV, there’s little mention of ACKs in the PCD profiles. For the general DEC, Al noted that AL was recommended for Application Acknowledgement, NE for Accept Acknowledgement. For POI, the recommendation is NE for Application Acknowledgement and AL for Accept Acknowledgement for unvalidated and validated data. This is based upon the volume of data. Iona will review with the WG next week. - Several questions arose regarding the events that trigger WCM data. Manny will follow up with Ken. Decisions/Issues: Action(s): - POI: The POI WG will review the tests in detail and recommend changes to accomplish their goals for first year testing. - WCM: Manny will ask Ken how to address triggering snapshot and continuous waveform communication.
