3	HIMSS Showcase Registration - John Donnelly	Status/Discussion: John Donnelly joined the meeting to describe the HIMSS11 Showcase registration process and how PCD will deal with registration. John described: - This year registration will include identifying the type of system, the environment where your system functions (in the real world), and what role it will play within the Use Case that demonstrates your functionality. - This permits developing discussion with others involved in the use case, hopefully leading to improved results. - “Roles” are actors or combinations of actors. - Registration rolls out tomorrow. - John described the process specifically for PCD with a PCD use case: o Using as the example: Use Case 11, in the OR: 11-4A is a role, and can be selected; multiple roles can be selected within the same use case or in other use cases. o He noted that this is similar to past experience, but earlier in the schedule. o John Garguilo noted that for PCD, within the same role and profile, and even within the same transaction, different devices may employ different messages. John Donnelly agreed and noted that even within a single block there are transactions among actors and vendors. - Manny added that registration at this time can be viewed as "placeholder" since the stories/scenarios may change from those shown last year. o We may have additional connections with other domains, in addition to Continua. - Registration opens tomorrow morning. Decisions/Issues: Action(s): John Donnelly encouraged PCD to define the stories and actors, and we agreed to provide these in two to three weeks. Manny asked members to wait a couple of days to register if they will implement WCM because that hasn't been loaded into Gazelle.
4	Review of ACM Connectathon Tests - Manny	Status/Discussion: A number of changes were suggested. These include: o Combining tests in two tabs o Testing the SMTP and WCTP wrappers; John and Manny will discuss offline o Rob questioned using two ARs in the multiple AM/AC test; Rob and Manny will discuss offline Decisions/Issues: Implement changes discussed and address the questions raised. Action(s): As noted.
