3	Brief Overview - Manny	Status/Discussion: Purpose and focus of this WG and its GG - Pre-Connectathon process and requirement to pass to enter Connectathon o Message Workbench o NIST Test Tools o Virtual Connectathon - Firewall issues: members were encouraged to begin working with the IT department to find a way to conduct Virtual Connectathon tests over the Internet. - Resources include sample messages - ftp://ftp.ihe.net/Patient_Care_Devices/ConnectathonsIncludingProcessAndTesting/YR4-2010Connectathon-PreConnectathonTesting/SampleMessages/ o Members were requested to archive sample messages on ftp site o ftp://ftp.ihe.net/Patient_Care_Devices/ConnectathonsIncludingProcessAndTesting/Yr5-2011Connectathon-PreConnectathonTesting/PreCSampleMessages/ - Draft Action Item Spreadsheet (attached) - New profiles, supplements requiring additions to, or modification of, Connectathon and Pre-Connectathon tests o Among them are pump CPs: Unknown med in DOR messages when necessary; aditional error codes in the acknowledgements; and there will be another to address the unknown patient (will not be tested this cycle) Decisions/Issues: Action(s):

5	Registration - Manny	Status/Discussion: Connectathon and Gazelle Connectathon Registration - Registration process: August 16-Sept. 30, past Webinars, Webinar scheduled Tuesday, Aug. 17 o Gazelle registration is delayed due to software issues; it should open by Friday. o For PCD we have two issues around optionality: - PCD-01 WAN-* and MLLP, ACM AM to/from AC with WCTP. - ACM options: Will PCD-06, 07 have two options: SMTP and/or WCTP? SMTP cannot be dropped after it becomes part of the TF without running into complications such as the need to maintain backward compatibility. HIMSS11 Showcase Registration (Discussion of HIMSS11 Showcase Itself will be Deferred) - Registration process: August 16-Sept. 30, past Webinars, Webinar scheduled Tuesday, Aug. 17 - Potential scenarios to begin brainstorming and defining the number Decisions/Issues: Action(s):

7	Issues and Questions - All	Status/Discussion: Window of opportunity to recruit additional participants - members were asked to identify other companies for recruiting, noting that PCD needs additional vendors to help move things forward and specifically to make some testing possible. o PCD device systems o EHR/EMR systems (Epic has been very supportive, GE has also supported PCD). o Pharmacy systems (feeding the IOP) - there has been no progress. o Recruiting ADT systems to provide all the varieties of patient demographics messages the various PCD systems need.
