3	Showcase Planning - Manny	Status/Discussion: Todd summarized discussion with John Donnelly and Lisa Spellman to get the Showcase planning moving. Points made include: - Integration with other domains (EMR), Continua - Make it fresh; focus on benefits rather than the clinical scenario Key benefits and objectives - Quality and efficiency – comparative effectiveness, workflow efficiency; ICE-PAC; Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS), Companies will sign up for location within the PCD area – try to give each company the opportunity to select their first choice Paul suggested reaching out to a university or research organization interested in quality/efficiency. See the posted PPT. Coordination with Continua: - Showcase – attempt to have infusion pump and/or vent, or IDCO - should be able to work in the home Remote demo to other booths – we should consider this Decisions/Issues: Action(s): Manny to check to see if that will be available this year Todd encouraged people to talk with their marketing counterparts to help determine how best to showcase their efforts in the new context.
