Status/Discussion:

3. PCD OID:

- Nothing to add to last week's discussion.

4. Profiles and TF Update:

- Event Communication Detailed Proposal: John Rhoads led discussion of the proposal that is an adaptation of the DEC profile. Some of the issues are the relationship with IPEC (it could become a subset of this), whether this is actually a profile or content profile.
- Monroe discussed the ACM CP. The CP is straight forward, mostly increasing the Supplement’s clarity. However, there are a number of significant changes that affect this year’s testing. The CP is intended to be implemented in the NIST tool as well as in Connectathon testing this cycle. Paul asked that these messages show the MDC codes the same way as the DEC profile shows them. Discussion of the OBX indicated that the source be identified in OBX-5, that there may be a need for a facet for numeric data. Paul referred to the MDS in the first OBX following the OBR. John Rhoads offered to document how the issues described may be accomplished. Monroe indicated that additional OBXs are required. John Garguilo noted that OBX-5 must have a value. Event Phase would not be defined for this cycle. New MDC codes and numerics have been requested for this cycle, but they won’t be available for this cycle; the existing ones will be used. This will be discussed in tomorrow’s Rosetta meeting and then distributed to the ACM WG for discussion on Thursday.
