3. Purchasing Language: Steve indicated the organization is developing RFP language. One issue is how to word IHE compliance – is it necessary to indicate specific profiles, or specific IEEE standards, for example 10404, specialization for pulse ox in home care? John Rhoads indicated that reference to 10101 and Rosetta would be useful. The PCD TF volume 3 would provide similar detail for reference. Appendix B may be useful to some degree. Otherwise, there is not the same level of detail for acute care devices beyond reference to the PCD profile (e.g., DEC). I.e., for IHE PCD profiles reference to the profile should be sufficient, and would reference the entire stack of IEEE standards. For home health, Ken suggested that a reference to Continua Certification would be sufficient.

4. Profile and WP updates

- ACM: John Rhoads requested an update from Monroe.
- MEM Cybersecurity WP: Will be out for public comment through IHE.
- RFP Language WP: Progress continues.

5. TF Update

- The agenda for tomorrow’s TC meeting includes discussion of experience and information learned at the Connectathon that needs to influence the TF.
- John Garguilo will provide an update, including test tool aspects. He noted that some new terms (e.g., baby warmer) weren’t known to all in advance, but the changes did not present significant difficulty. Most people were loading individual terms rather than using a look up table. This needs to be addressed; it won’t work in the future. Also, some messages sent were stored from last year and thus needed to reconfigure. John Rhoads will start a Wiki page. Manny will add Connectathon and Pre-Connectathon preparation process to that page. John Garguilo noted that test tool evolution provides more rigorous testing (dynamic testing) and provides an incentive to return to the Connectathon.
- John Garguilo asked Julien to find valid messages from the Connectathon to post as example messages. They will be anonymized to remove vendor names.

6. Standards Coordination

7. IHE International Patent Process – no news.

8. May Meeting Place on PC and TC Agendas. Manny to respond to Greg re agenda after tomorrow’s TC meeting. Boca Raton. Monday May 2 – Thursday (late afternoon) May 6

9. Webex Changes - waiting on details from HIMSS

14. Next Meetings: Manny will not be available for the cochair meeting. A cochair will host.
