    • DSe - a configuration service that has nto been fully defined.
    • Roles - are like actors (business actors)
      • Query Initiator/Responder = DAF Requestor/Responder
    • Record Locator Service - this does not exist in DAF. This is a transaction in XCPD (patient locator)
    • Section 3, 4 are policies so DAF does not have to align
    • Section 5 - SLA's and Policy (not a technical requirement)
    • Section 6 - "certification" policy. 6.2.1 - IHE integration statements
    • Section 7 - Use Case is very similar to what DAF is trying to do. Use case is an implementation guide. There need to be a crosswalk from the use case to DAF implementation.
    • Value sets for document metadata elements - CareQuality need to reference the DAF appendix
    • DAF use of XCPD is implied but not explicit.
    • Document Query and Retrieve is the most critical area.
    • Keith comment was to both DAF and CareQuality to harmonize with each other
    • Suggestion to use samilar terms
    • CP to be submitted to DAF (authored by CareQuality). Need to review the careEquality guide and also need to align with the Commonwell quide. CP changes need to be done by October in time for Connecthathon in November.
  • Outstanding question to IHE USA as to what happens to DAF when S&I ends.
  • Discussion with Charles: what should be done and what should be postpone. There need to be a policy diagram to assist in explaining this work. .
  • DAF need to address the metadata dispreptancy - does not align with VSOP that is in the body
  • Next steps - need further analysis of the line-by-line changes. Meeting with CareQuality on Monday to discuss alignment. Didi will send meeting info to Keith, DAF team, Charles Perisot. WIll develop a timeline and plan more calls. Between now and Monday review doc Keith sent to PCC tech and look for the short term changes and short term harmonization efforts.
  • DAF is an IHE USA item so will follow a different publication schedule
  • CareQuality did not make a public announcement of their work until June - prior to that, there was no public announcement to IHE or PCC. CareQuality is part of Sequoi
