  • Pharmacy
    • Works in two domain – community and hospital based.
    • work with many pharmacy related SDO HL7 and NCDCP
    • Medication lists – worldwide misunderstanding of what is the medication list. HL7 and IHE pharmacy has a work item to sort it out and make proper definitions for each of the medication lists, medication management…. Etc.
      • Work to be completed in next 1-2 months.
      • In parallel trying to develop a profile to …. And have looked a the recon profile and have some comments on it. Medication sections are OK. They are basically the CDA and they are OK.
        • Meeting set for March 29th at 9 central – to be a joint meeting with PCC and Pharmacy to discuss the medication lists and issues with the recon profile.
          • The actor diagram and sequence diagram is exactly the same as what they would need for transporting the medication list. Pharm thinking was to gather info from the resources, maybe do something to them and then pass them on. Suggest dividing recon into 2 parts – 1) gather information, 2) merge and move over,
    • Need to set up one meeting with PCC and Pharmacy to address known issues identified by Pharmacy team of overlapping profiles etc.
