Maternal Discharge Summary (MDS)

The Maternal Discharge Summary (MDS) profile represents a snapshot of the mother postpartum stay until her discharge from the birthing facility.

The MDS is a medical summary and inherits all header constraints from Medical Summaries. The use case for this document is described fully in the Labor and Delivery Record (LDR) profile in PCC TF-1.
