Rationale

The LOINC code which is assigned in TF Vol. 6.4.3.2.19 is wrong. We should more clearly separate between Braden Scale und Braden Skin Assessment. So we may either change the title of this content section or use the proper code.

• 38227-5: Braden Scale (total score)
• 38228-3: Braden Scale Skin Assessment Panel

The first is a score system calculating the total score from 6 components. The second is a set of 29 triplets without a total score.

My recommendation is to adress both systems in parallel below its own name.

Furthermore, the individual values for all scores should be communicated facilitating a level 3 encoding as introduced by the DCM (detailed clinical information models) group and myself. I can prepare a generator to create a third volumen for this purpose. But this should be done based on a separate CP.
