9:00-10:30

  • Discussed the whitepaper. Insurance content may be included in the workflow, but identifying that financial standards and flows will be jurisdiction-specific
  • Discussed that the antepartum labs do not specify the actual set of labs that would routinely be part of the prenatal care, providing examples with some content derived from ACOG, but also citing it as future work to detail out a set of
  • Discussed US-focus as IHE-USA and making this an internationally applicable white paper. The problem section is a compelling argument for doing this. (Global example – outcome differences of 8 care visits vs 4)
  • Goal will be to put out for public comment at the end of this meeting.

• IPS
• ITI – aIPS – focuses on FHIR IPS
• Not waste energy on CDA IPS
• Generic IPS – is here
• Distill into an IG that derives off IPS and creates formal content – or carve out of a work
• Proposal is to break out the FHIR profile from the CDA profile in IHE, potentially discarding the CDA portion and moving any of the relevant templates into the profiles that may have used IPS templates by reference. The FHIR profile current options is proposed to be implemented as separate smaller profiles. An IPS implementer may claim conformance to multiple IPS FHIR variants with a single FHIR document.

  • Discussed the need for a FHIR transaction and the need to break out the transaction from the base profile.
  • Will keep the name SDOH Status Query – will be able to align with Gravity as needed.
  • The project team agreed to generate this as a separate profile

  • Areas where the base (IPS) is extended to support APS
