Minutes

1) Connectathon Process Guidelines

  • May be advisable to split Cor's original detailed material on Connectathon QC processes into a separate document
  • Add more detail about the process for approval/sanctioning of events
  • Include more descriptive information on the link between using tools and contributing to their development
  • Steve Moore to review sections on project manager responsibilities and training requirements
  • Action Item: Chris Carr and Steve Moore to refine draft and submit for review on Monday, March 30 tcon

2) Product Registry Development and Rollout

  • Eric displayed the current development version of the Product Registry, which is ready for user testing on both the vendor and user sides
  • Need to develop hierarchy of system categories for simple search functionality: market categories rather than IHE actors
  • Action Item: Eric and Steve to identify target group of vendors to enter integration statement data and provide feedback
  • Allow two weeks for them to play with system and provide feedback
  • Candidate participants: George Cole, Bob Barker, Bruno Laffin, Tone Southerland, Manfred Oberfell, Hitachi, Kevin O'Donnell, device area (IDCO profile?)
  • Link on bottom of registry page to bug tracking system where they can provide comments
  • One contact in Eric's lab to be assigned to manage feedback
  • Second pilot with group of users to spend one week searching the data entered and providing input on functionality and GUI
  • Chris Carr to find user/reviewers: six-eight people (Europe, Asia and NA)

3) Gazelle Update

  • Steve Moore and Eric Poiseau discussed their strategy for Gazelle development over the next 6 months
  • Focusing on development of Gazelle Test Engine through summer and fall months
  • Small number of simulators as a pilot project to be developed by 2010 Connectathons
  • Platform should be sufficiently stable by Jan. 2010 to begin providing services for other kinds of testing events
  • Kudu would be used for running any testing events in the interim (eg, any Sept. project events)
  • Action Item: Committee to develop short slide presentation on roadmap for Gazelle development

4) Connectathon Monitor/Project Manager Training

  • Steve and Eric outlined plans for a training event in the early summer
  • Likely location: Rennes
  • Probably a three-day event
  • Costs should be sufficient to provide some additional support for tools development
  • Need to decide on details and business arrangements quickly
  • Action Item: Add to agenda for March 30 to resolve details

5) Discussions with Lisa Carnahan of NIST scheduled for next call (March 30)
