Revision as of 16:41, 2 April 2012

Plan:

1.) Review proposed agenda

  • 4/2 - wrap up current set of questions
  • 4/6 - get solid cut (80-90% complete, send out in email), including Content Modules, of:
  • General Introduction to the Technical Frameworks, incl App E (but not App G: NameSpace- handle that separately)
  • Technical Framework Vol 3 shell,
  • Supplement Template
  • 4/9 - no Doc WG call
  • 4/16 - internal IHE Doc WG review of all 3 documents listed; this may be a longer call than usual; review issues real time
  • 4/23 - review all 3 docs with "larger CDA community" (get onto DCC agenda)
  • 4/30 - no Doc WG call (PCC and QRPH F2F mtgs)
  • 5/7 - final internal IHE Doc WG review; vote to publish for Public Comment or not; submit all 3 docs to Mary for 30 day Public Comment period; approx 5/11 Mary publishes for Public Comment
  • Wed 5/16 9am CT - 30 minute Webinar to introduce the 3 docs listed above to general audience - record (get onto DCC agenda)
  • approx 6/16 - Public Comment period closes

2.) several specific questions on Sections remaining

  • Leave the Section Categories as an open issue for Public Comment, but note that Section Categories are really a tool put in place due to a lack of a NameSpace solution/search. Recommend that we do not use Section Categories going forward as default answer. Solicit input. Note that the Consolidated CDA does not use Section Categories. Note that there is no methodology, vocabulary, coding scheme to categorize sections. Ownership and assigning authority of Section Categories is not clear either. However, if Section Categories are not used going forward, we will have to deal with an extra (unused) level in the titles that only appears in Sections (to maintain current title numbers).
  • Section Naming Conventions - e.g., Cardiac Medical History Section v. Medical History Section - Cardiac (or (Cardiac)). Also leave this item as an Open Issue but recommend/default to Medical History Section - Cardiac, per Doc WG consensus.

3.) review Entry table and Conditional entry table

Changes made within document (Supplement Template) itself.

4.) Other - General Introductions

The GI will be an html page (most likely) and will be published at:

http://www.ihe.net/Technical_Framework/General_Introductions/index.cfm (start putting this link into documents!!! Note plurality of Introductions!) On this page, put a TOC with Appendices listed. Within Technical Frameworks, some links are directly to Appendices. If an Appendix has been pulled into the NameSpace solution, leave the appendix letter and page there and put in another link to Appendix G (NameSpace). e.g., Appendix B is List of Transactions - link that to NameSpace.

Appedices will be as: http://www.ihe.net/Technical_Framework/General_Introductions/Appendix_A/index.cfm

On http://www.ihe.net/Technical_Framework/index.cfm At the top of the list of Domains, put a link to the General Introduction as "General Introductions and Appendices".
