CRC Changes
  • Measurement Constraints - Added the abbreviation StrHrt-Int.
  • Differences between the measurement of Proximal Aorta and Ascending Aorta [Table 6.3.6.8.1] Which term should be selected? Cath does not have this level of specificity. Ascending Aorta was discussed and selected as the choice for submission to registries.
  • Charles will adjust the Column that contains cardinality.
  • Diagnostic Cath is not granular enough, laterality must be included for more detail regarding the procedure. Charles will do more research on the long-term ramification and update accordingly.
  • Charles did a complete review of indications. He added two crucial to PCI: MI biomarker positive and STEMI.
  • Chest pain needs to be used in the context as part of a STEMI and needs to support the Candaian CV Society codes. Charles needs to see an expert XML coder to demonstrate how he can replicate it for New York Heart Functional Classes. Item 59 in particular would be useful to have demoed.
  • Is there a language change that needs to accompany this change? Do we need to adjust the terminology? Charles will update Table 6.3.6.7. The New York Class will model similarly to the Canadian model.
