DAF

  • Voting today to move forward with IHE publication schedule and address any synergies and change proposals in late fall
  • IHE profiles test individual profiles - DAF is a bundle of profiles. Goal is to move in a new direction for testing the bundling
  • Dragon - looked at CareEquality - need to make sure the DAF IG (especially transactions) do not preclude anything that CareEquality is doing. This will take a day or two. This may result in minor corrections.
  • Tone suggests include as an open issue in the document that there may be CPs and additional changes may be needed.
  • Joyce agrees that the industry need to be made aware - suggest doing a blog post. Have reached out to Marianne.
  • Steve question - how will vendors claim conformance to DAF? What are we telling vendors to document so that they can claim conformance to DAF?
    • Joyce will take action to continue discussion to answer Steve's question.
  • IHE USA will schedule publication of DAF IG date with Mary Jungers for the end of August
  • DAF group and IHE USA members will meet with CareEquality Query work group on Monday August 3 at 1pm CST
  • Dragon will make updates with referencing the CareEquality piece.
  • Charles will be doing review on appendix B - and will provide suggested changes to Dragon before publication. Goal is for CareEquality to reference DAF appendix B. Will later have a CP on metadata - IHE, CareEquality.
