Derrick Evans is a Sr. Business Analyst of Executive Leadership for Allscripts, A healthcare technology company that specializes in Acute and Ambulatory solutions for small, medium and large healthcare organizations. He manages regulatory and compliance certifications including CCHIT, ONC-ATCB and any international certifications for the Sunrise suite of solutions. Prior to his current position, he was a Product Designer for the Sunrise Pharmacy solution for Eclipsys (now Allscripts).

Derrick recently decided to go back to school and attain a B.S in Network Management which he will finish May 2012, afterwards pursuing an M.S in either Healthcare Informatics or Network Architecture. He enjoys reading, training his kids who are both high school athletes and enjoy spending time with family, as well writing a book of short stories for kids.
