Domain Committees are responsible for directly making other groups within IHE aware of certain milestones. This facilitates synergy; contributions to or leveraging of the work in your domain.


To Domain Coordination Committee

This is intended to facilitate coordination between domains at key points in profile development.

The co-chairs of the Domain Planning (PC) and Technical (TC) Committees (as noted below) are responsible for the following notifications to the Domain Coordination Committee.

The notifications will be reviewed/discussed during the standing "Domain Coordination Checkpoints" item on each DCC agenda.

Notifications may be entered directly into the agenda before the meeting, or emailed to the committee secretariat for transcription.

  • Call for proposals (PC)
    • other domains may have identified work relevant to your domain
    • provide deadline for input
    • provide date of selection
  • Profile selection (PC)
    • other domains may have an interest in contributing to profiles selected for development
    • provide brief summary of each profile selected for development
    • identify domains whose input/use cases are specifically sought
  • Opening Public Comment (TC)
    • other domains may have relevant needs/opinions about your profile
    • provide deadline for input (please notify DCC 3-6 weeks before deadline)
    • identify domains whose input/feedback is specifically sought
  • Evaluation for Final Text (TC/PC)
    • provide deadline for input
    • identify domains whose input/feedback is specifically sought
  • Publication as Final Text (TC)
  • Evaluation for Retirement (TC)
    • provide deadline for input
    • identify domains whose input/feedback is specifically sought

To IHE International Board

The Domain Board Representative is responsible for the following notifications to the IHE International Board during the "Domain Announcements" item on each Board agenda.
