- Board reports and status updates
- New Reports
- No reports
- Identified issues with DCs:
- IHE Belgium and IHE Luxembourg have never delivered a report so far
- IHE Spain has not delivered a report since 2012
- IHE Italy, Turkey, Europe lagging in reports since 2017
- Some DCs do not pay fees
- If some European DCs (covered by IHE Europe) do not pay the fee, IHE Europe has to cover it
- Catalog of criteria should be deveoped, which signales a DC as a "problem case" for discussion at the GDC/BOC/Board
- e.g. fee not paid for x years, report not given for x years, etc.
- Action item: Add column for "fee payed" and "approval date" added to spreadsheet (Jamie)
- Decision: Issues are brought to the board (Mike)
IHE World Summit 2020
- Status update (Jürgen)
Proposal: International Deployment Committee
- Status update (Mike)
- Idea: Integrate Continua in IHE (in PCD domain)
- Continua Guidelines shall be republished as IHE Profiles
- PCHA is overarching Continua and conferences
- -> Proposal to do this: PCHA shall become an "International Deployment Committee"
- Brought up by "Joint governance committee between PCHA (including HIMSS) and IHE", formed at the last HIMSS conference
- There are issues with that, e.g. that it's not geographical, leads to an over-representation
- Suggested alternative: PCHA can become a consolidated domain sponsor of PCD
- Decision: GDC does not support the creation of such an International Deployment Committee without further study by the GDC
Compliance with FAIR initiative
- Discussion: see https://www.go-fair.org/, link to research community, perhaps something that IHE should explore further
- Tie Tjee will present at our next meeting
