Domain Committees are responsible for directly making other groups within IHE aware of certain milestones. This facilitates synergy; contributions to or leveraging of the work in your domain.


To Domain Coordination Committee

To facilitate coordination & synergy between domains at key points in profile development, the co-chairs of the Domain Planning and Technical Committees are responsible for the following milestone announcements to the Domain Coordination Committee.

Notifications should be entered directly into the agenda before the meeting for review/questions during the standing "Domain Milestone Announcements" item.

The following text can be copied into the agenda and your domain abbreviation and details substituted.

  • DOM - Calling for Workitem Proposals
    • Deadline: yyyy-mm-dd
    • Final Selection: yyyy-mm-dd
Other domains may have identified work relevant to your domain
  • DOM - Selected Profiles
    • Title - brief summary
    • Input/use cases sought from DOM, DOM, DOM (specify nature of input)
Other domains may have an interest in contributing to profiles selected for development
  • DOM - Opening Public Comment
    • Title - brief summary
    • Deadline: yyyy-mm-dd (please notify DCC 3-6 weeks before deadline)
    • Input/feedback sought from DOM, DOM, DOM (specify nature of input)
Other domains may have relevant needs/opinions about your profile
  • DOM - Evaluating for Final Text
    • Title - brief summary
    • Deadline: yyyy-mm-dd
    • Input/feedback sought from DOM, DOM, DOM (specify nature of input)
  • DOM - Published Final Text
    • Title - <link to results of evaluation for final text (usually recorded in your minutes)>
  • DOM - Evaluating for Retirement
    • Title - brief summary
    • Deadline: yyyy-mm-dd
    • Input/feedback sought from DOM, DOM, DOM (specify nature of input)

To IHE International Board

The Domain Board Representative is responsible for the following notifications to the IHE International Board during the "Domain Announcements" item on each Board agenda.
