HIMSS14 Interoperability Showcase

The HIMSS Showcase Planning group met Monday-Wednesday last week in Cleveland. They identified the vignettes and made progress assigning systems to each.

Data from the Doodle poll provided the first pass at possible assignments. These were distributed via email before the meeting and were reviewed during the meeting. Manny provided an update and described how to interpret the Doodle and subsequent analysis.

Comments, suggestions and updates were solicited.

HIMSS is in discussion with FDA on showcase presence – primarily UDI; will follow up next week

Timeline for HIMSS Showcase -

Set up Sat Feb 22 – Feb 23

If shipped equipment - come at 8AM Saturday to locate equipment; if Carry in come at 10AM

Layout with masking tape, and carpenters install wall mounts - all must be present on time to determine where each item will go

Teardown Wed night
