2	HIMSS12 - Sandy	Status/Discussion: - Floor plan not yet available. - PCD will be integrated into use case themes. Similar to last year’s. - Each company will have a role and a use case. - John spoke for a number of other vendors, expressing concern about having adequate time to show their system as well as show PCD. Sandy indicated that PCD will be incorporated into every community of care, thus increasing visibility. Thus, every visitor will be exposed to PCD. John added that the previous approach provided an opportunity to provide an overview of PCD. If inadequate time is available the quality of time won’t be sufficient. Sandy indicated that this approach will provide an introduction to IHE and various domains. Sandy asked that participants work with HIMSS to make the most of this. Manny attempted to clarify that there will be a sufficient number of devices to provide a clinical environment, with sufficient time for the PCD devices. Sandy indicated that the length of the tours and the time available to PCD cannot be determined until registration is complete. - Survey: Sandy described the survey that will pair the companies with the use case.
