'''24-Feb-2016 - for the EU2016 Connectathon in Bochum:'''

Although this appears on your pre-Connectathon test list if you are testing FHIR®-based profiles, it is not an actual test. Rather this is information relevant to test systems registered for FHIR®-based IHE profiles at the IHE Connectathon in Bochum. Eric Poiseau announced the following to the EU_Connectathon mailing list [https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/eu_connectathon/vI3OKgD-ONE here]. We are adding a pre-Connectathon test with this information to use as many channels as possible to communicate with you.

The purpose is to specify which version of IHE supplements based on HL7® FHIR® are to be used for Bochum testing. Indeed, in mid-February, four ITI supplements -- '''PIXm''', '''PDQm''', '''MHD''', plus the '''IHE Appendix on HL7® FHIR®''' have been updated by the ITI Technical Committee these updates are to align the transactions with FHIR DSTU2. These supplement are out for a 4-week comment period as part of ITI CP Ballot 32. During the comment period, the supplements are published including Word change tracking markups to show the deltas between the new version and the prior version of the supplements published in 2015.

Participants to the Bochum Connectathon should to work off of those documents in preparation for Bochum.

Any feedback we get from you as an implementer is very good input to 'public comment’. Here is the CP Ballot announcement if you have comments to submit: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/ititech/7xjDcyGtvhQ. Alternatively, you can email comments to felhofer.lynn at gmail dot com

You will be able to find the latest version of the supplements here. These are out for ballot review from Feb 24 - Mar 15, 2016:

In addition, several participants have registered to test Audit Consumers or Audit Record Repositories with new capabilities defined in the '''Add RESTful Query to ATNA''' Trial Implementation supplement. That supplement has not yet been updated by the ITI Technical Committee

In Bochum we will test the supplement published on ihe.net: http://www.ihe.net/uploadedFiles/Documents/ITI/IHE_ITI_Suppl_RESTful-ATNA.pdf

'''NOW OBSOLETE: Nov-2015 for the NA2016 Connectathon''':

Although this appears on your pre-Connectathon test list if you are testing FHIR®-based profiles, it is not an actual test. Rather this is information relevant to test systems registered for FHIR®-based IHE profiles at the upcoming IHE Connectathon.

'''In brief, we are not testing DSTU2 in January, 2016. Continue reading for further details.'''

The IHE Connectathon Technical Manager sent [https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/na_connectathon/TNl_zskeEfQ this reminder] to all participants regarding testing of FHIR®-based IHE profiles. The following is another means to communicate this information as we try to reach all affected parties.

IHE's profiles based on FHIR® are published at various times throughout the year based on the IHE publication cycle. Because HL7 FHIR® is updating DSTU versions in parallel throughout the year, IHE Technical Committees have on-going work to keep its FHIR®-based profiles in sync with DSTU updates.

For the January 2016 IHE Connectathon, we will be doing peer-to-peer interoperability testing of FHIR®-based IHE Trial Implementation Supplements. That testing will be based on the version of FHIR® documented in the IHE Trial Implementation Supplements published on [http://www.ihe.net/Technical_Frameworks/ ihe.net].

In all IHE Trial Implementation Supplements, the applicable version of the base standard, including FHIR®, is documented in the '''Referenced Standards''' section for each transaction:

* MHD - Mobile access to Health Documents - transactions ITI-65, 66 and 67

* PIXm - Patient Identifier Cross-Reference for Mobile - transaction ITI-83

* PDQm - Patient Demographics Query for Mobile - transaction ITI-78

* mACM - Mobile Alert Communication Management - transactions ITI-84 and 85

* Add RESTful Query to ATNA - transaction ITI-81

* GAO - Guideline Appropriate Ordering - transaction PCC-19 and 20

* RECON - Reconciliation of Clinical Content and Care Providers - PCC-16 (Source & Consumer with FHIR option)

Some of these existing FHIR®-based IHE profiles are already close to DSTU2 and are expected to need only minor changes for their next review. Others will need more substantive updates. Vendors who want to benefit by contributing to the collaborative work to update existing IHE TI Supplements are warmly invited to join the on-going work in the IHE Technical Committees.

If you have questions or concerns, you should contact the IHE Connectathon Technical Manager.
