The agenda is available at http://wiki.ihe.net/index.php?title=PCD_Connectathon%26Showcase_WG_2011-12#September.2C_2011_Meetings. - Agenda Items: Manny briefly called attention to the various items on the agenda, noting that there are important details and useful links. Discussion Summary was reviewed and approved PCD_Connectathon&Showcase_2011-08-16_Webex. John Donnelly commented that Showcase preparation is slightly behind schedule, but it is catching up. Manny indicated that the final tests are not yet available and will be distributed. 3	2012 N A Connectathon - Manny	Status/Discussion: Manny called attention to the early registration information shared via email, asking that members review it for accuracy, provide information about their plans. This will support PCD's efforts to develop the Showcase demonstrations. Decisions/Issues: Action(s):
3	HIMSS12 - Manny	Status/Discussion: - John Donnelly indicated there will be a Showcase meeting Monday before the opening of the Connectathon. The Connectathon set up will be on Monday rather than Sunday as in the past and we’ll continue on to Saturday with Showcase preparation. - NOTE: Friday, October 7 is a mandatory meeting in the Chicago area for first time Showcase participants. John Donnelly led discussion of the Showcase Use Cases that include PCD and described how PCD will be integrated into the larger clinical stories. These are Use Cases 1, 2, 8, 9 and possibly the second newborn case. Please refer to the recording for details. - Use Case 8: PCD in ED, ICU along with imaging. - Use Case 9: PCD in OR for defib implant. Home based messaging in IDCO, Continua. - Use Case 2: PCD supports baby in NICU, QRPH, hearing screening, … - Use Case 1: PCD supports the mother prior to delivery, includes fetal monitor and medication management (non-PCD). o Jeff McGeath has a project to support data prior to and through delivery and will be considering this role at HIMSS12. - Use Case 7: PCD possible? Surgical procedure with follow up, may not be needed if Use Case 9 is adequate.
