Introduction
IHE technical committees sometime need a new (LOINC) coded concept to include in a profile definition. Profile authors should first search the existing LOINC vocabulary to determine if an existing code will satisfy the requirement. If there is no existing code, IHE will request a new code from LOINC.
The sections below show requests that are in progress and requests that have been resolved.
