: John Garguilo explained the need to have MSH-3 and would like to have MSH-4 as well. Even though these are RE, the tool needs this information. However, some vendors cannot provide MSH-3.1, 3.2, 3.3, MSH-4 data and NIST is exploring workarounds. MSH-5 and 6 present other issues for specific vendors. NIST has a workaround for MSH-5 but isn’t happy with that approach. Please see the email threads. Sandra noted that MSH-21 requires an OID and Mindray is hoping to have this change made in time for the Connectathon. | |||

Item Topic Discussion 1 Introductions & Agenda Review
- MannyStatus/Discussion: - No changes were made to the agenda. The agenda is available at http://wiki.ihe.net/index.php?title=PCD_Connectathon%26Showcase_WG_2011-12#September.2C_2011_Meetings.
- Discussion Summary from last meeting was reviewed and approved PCD Connectathon&Showcase 2011-11-15 Webex.
Decisions/Issues:
Action(s):
2 2012 N A Connectathon
- MannyStatus/Discussion: An email was distributed on Nov. 28 in response to a question, clarifying for participants:
- PCD Internet/Virtual Connectathon testing of PCD profiles (and only these) are conducted between consenting vendors at a mutually agreed time. Arrangements are made directly (please make sure the contact information in the Participation Excel spreadsheet is correct). For PCD in the Showcase, testing with your anticipated communication partner(s) with anticipated parameters is required. For PCD in the Connectathon, testing is optional but strongly recommended.
- The email included this request:
- - Please
- o test as many of the anticipated Connectathon tests as you can, with parameters you expect to employ in the Showcase as well as in testing with multiple partners in Chicago,
- o test with as many partners as you have time for, but at least one, and that one preferably is one you will communicate with in the Showcase,
- o let Manny know which profiles and actors you successfully test, and identify your test partners,
- o do not include data, screen shots, etc.; no documentation is required,
- o let Manny know if you have trouble with a test; this may have implications for the design of the test in Gazelle,
- o provide - to the coordinator - whatever information the Showcase Technical Program Coordinator requests
Testing:
- John Garguilo explained the need to have MSH-3 and would like to have MSH-4 as well.
- John also noted that NIST will need to have static versions of the tool consistent with the TF versions; systems will need to indicate that they conform to specific versions of the TF.
Hotel Reservations:
- Ken indicated that HIMSS contacted the hotel and additional rooms have been made available for the initial Sunday night.
- Connectathon schedule was reviewed. Those participating in the Showcase will have mandatory Monday morning meeting and Saturday demonstration. The Connectathon itself runs Monday afternoon through Friday.
