Vol 2a	Lynn	Reviewed	There are no page numbers in the document footers Sec 3.4.4 - the label for Figure 3.4-1 is on the top of one page, the figure is on the bottom of the previous page Cells in tables between lines 3435 and 3470 (sec 3.16.4.1.5 thru 3.16.4.2.4) are filled in with grey. They are not that way in the 2009-07.27 version of the document
2b	Lynn	Reviewed	The page number in the footer is right-justified. I think all of the other documents have it centered. For the TOC, Volume 2a goes to Header level 3 (eg 3.4.1), but Vol 2b only goes to Level 9 (eg 3.35). My preference is for the more detailed TOC. It allows me to quickly find the Security Considerations subsection, for example. In Vol 2a, each transaction (eg 3.31) starts at the top of a new page. I think this is preferable to the format in Vol 2b, where there is not a page break preceding the start of a new transaction definition. Sec 3.43.3 - the label for Figure 3.43.4 is on the top of pg 115, the figure is on the bottom of the previous page – 114.
2x	Lynn	Reviewed	This is purely cosmetic, but in the TOC, the names of the appendixes don’t line up properly. It’s as though some use spaces and some used tab between the Appendix letter and the name of the appendix. Pg 47,Section M.1, the Figure is labeled “Figure Title: MISSING – please insert”. The original had no figure label at all. I think we could label it “Figure M.2-1: Patient Demographics Supplier in a Multi-domain Environment” Pg 56: Label the table: "Table P.1.1-1: Storyboard Attribute Values Pg 61: Label the table at the top of the page: "Table P.2.1-1: Storyboard Attribute Values Pg 61: Label the interaction diagram "Figure P.2.2-1: Patient Encounter Messages" Pg 73: label the table: "Table V.3.2-1" Web Services Requirements for non-HL7v3 Transations" Table V.2.4-1 on pg 71 goes off the right side of the page.

NAV	Lynn	Reviewed	Cover page: Reads “Technical Framework Supplement 2007-2008” Are you labeling all Trial Implementation Supplements as 2008-2009, even though they originated in previous years? Actually, I see that the forums spot for gathering documentation comments is labeled “2009-2010 Supplements for Trial Implementation”. From a vendor/reader’s point-of-view, these documents are for the 2009-2010 testing season (2008-2009 represents the timeframe of the committee’s work on the documents). I guess I prefer representing things from a reader/vendor’s point of view. Document’s file name is not in footer as I have seen in most (all?) other documents. (...later determined with lisa that date alone and not whole file name is preferable content for footer) Likewise, the header content is not consistent with other documents. Page 4: Per your question about whether this is the 2nd or 3rd release for TI, I would change the wording to say that this is “re-released for Trial Implementation” and get rid of counting the years. Starting at Line 184 through line 363, Section heading that should start with 12, have been prefaced with 3 or 3.x. The section heading numbers in the original document do not have this problem.
