The Planning Committee selected the following proposals on Oct 1, 2025

- C. Manifest-Based Access to DICOM Objects (MADO) Full 35%
Effort Assessment
The Technical Committee evaluated the required effort of the Detailed Proposals as follows in tcons on Sep 29, Sep 9, & Sept 17.

Detailed Proposals

Short Listing
On Aug 5, 2025, the Planning Committee selected a shortlist of Brief Proposals.
All 4 submitted proposals will be assessed by the Radiology Technical Committee.
They were provisionally ranked:
- (32 pts) Imaging Diagnostic Report(Phase II)
- (28 pts) Manifest-Based Access to DICOM Objects (MADO)
- (15 pts) Radiology AI Metadata Index
- ( 9 pts) Radiation Exposure Monitoring Patient (REM – PRDSR)
Brief Proposals
Submitted by July 21, 2025 11:59pm deadline.
Process
1. Call for Proposals
Interested parties are invited to submit proposal pages based on the Brief Proposal Template.
You are also welcome to update and resubmit proposals from last year or earlier.
Contact radiology@ihe.net with any questions.
2. Shortlisting
The Planning Committee schedules a Shortlisting call.
Proposal Editors present their proposals to the Planning Committee who votes to select a shortlist of Brief Proposals.
3. Detailed Proposals
(For proposals on the shortlist) Proposal Editors expand their proposal into a Detailed Proposal.
- Expand your Brief Proposal to include Detailed Proposal elements
- Copy the Delta Proposal Template into the bottom of your proposal page
- Update as described in the Delta Template (adds Summary, Technical Details, Evaluation, etc.)
- Complete the Breakdown of Tasks with a strawman estimate of story points
- Your goal is to give sufficient detail for the Tech Cmte to be able to evaluate the technical feasibility, specification tasks and effort required.
Reviewers can enter comments under Risks and Decisions/Topics/Uncertainties section of the proposal.
4. Effort Evaluations
The Technical Committee schedules a series of Proposal Effort Evaluation calls and assigns slots to each Proposal Editor.
- Proposal Editors present the Technical Details and Breakdown of Tasks.
- Tech Cmte members review, comment, and help refine both the content of the Breakdown of Tasks and the "Story Point" estimates.
- Tech Cmte records evaluations at the bottom of each detailed proposal.
5. Final Selection
The Planning Committee schedules a Final Selection call.
Proposal Editors present their proposal summary, risks, and effort assessments to the Planning Committee.
The Planning Committee votes to make a final selection of Proposals for work this cycle.
